Scissor Sisters strapped for cash, cancel tour dates
What is this world coming to when a successful band can’t pay for its own tour? Apparently touring is not recession-proof, which the Scissor Sisters have recently discovered the hard way.
The NY-based band has had to cancel its European tour dates for all shows (except the ones in England) due to “funding issues.” The statement on their official website was equally vague, stating only that they were “very disappointed, but it is beyond anyone’s control.”
The countries affected include Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy - refunds for all show will be made.
Check back for more Scissor Sisters news and tour information. Let’s hope things can only get better.
